The ICE Ideas Conference in Auckland

It was inspiring to attend the ICE Ideas conference in Auckland today. The event attracted an extremely high calibre speaker list who were to be short and sharp with only a few minutes each to speak.

One of the speakers was Paypal cofounder and early Facebook investor Peter Theil who has shown an interest in investing in New Zealand companies. The challenge was laid down for those in the room to help create 3000 new exporting companies by 2020 and help New Zealand climb the global ranks.

Dreamforce 2014 Reflections

Dreamforce 2014 was of course the biggest and best yet. Every year Dreamforce gets bigger and grander. No doubt 2015 will be bigger still.

Wrapping Up Dreamforce 2013

Things are now starting to return to normal after a huge Dreamforce week in San Francisco so it’s time to start thinking about how to apply some of the new information we picked up over there.

Thoughts of a Dreamforce Rookie

To a newbie, Dreamforce can be a bit overwhelming. If you're used to thousands of people in your personal space (for instance Sydney on New Year's Eve or Ho Chi Minh on any day), then you should be ok.
