Trineo Wins 2019 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award

We are beyond thrilled to share that Trineo has won the 2019 Salesforce Consulting Partner Innovation Award for Heroku.
This was specifically for our delivery of transformative and innovative solutions for Clear Channel Outdoor, one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world. We want to extend a huge Thank You to our partners at Salesforce for recognizing our achievements.
This win is a big deal. Trineo is a boutique firm: we are highly selective with the projects we take on and have a quieter presence than Salesforce’s large, high-volume consulting partners, making our win even more special.
Beyond Innovation at Clear Channel Outdoor
The award recognizes our achievements serving this two billion dollar company, much of which leveraged the Heroku platform, the Salesforce platform, Sales Cloud and AppExchange. Our work has unfolded over several years, starting with building a strong architectural foundation, continuing with process improvements that served both internal teams and external stakeholders, and culminating with some of the most cutting edge technology in the out of home advertising space today.
We developed this progressive technology in service of Clear Channel Outdoor’s big audacious goal: to deliver a Programmatic platform for real-time ad bidding on digital displays across airports, roadsides and in Times Square. Alex Porter, Clear Channel Outdoor VP of Product Development, and Abhinav Keswani, Trineo CEO, told this story in a recent Salesforce webinar which you can watch on demand, and are telling a version of this story at Dreamforce 2019 this Thursday at Moscone West at 2pm.
A Brand New Revenue Stream for CCO
By designing and deploying Programmatic media buying and advertising to digital billboards, Trineo and CCO created a brand new revenue stream for the company. Historically, ads were pre-sold and played on a loop on repeat. Un-booked ad space was a lost revenue opportunity. Achieving this goal automated buying, placement, and optimization of billboard inventory via a bidding system. The solution would serve up winning ads in real time, and after pre-campaign setup, there would be no reliance on manual work.
Winning with Heroku
This innovative technology was piloted with great success in Times Square in November 2018, and has been rolling out across regional markets throughout all of 2019. This work would not have been possible without the integrations available, the API, and the ability to build a tight service deployed on Heroku, complete with the scalability, reliability and performance tuning that Heroku provides.
